Neil Gore

Neil was a founding co-operative member of Metro Theatre Company, Sheffield, in the eighties and performed in their tours of newly commissioned plays as well as playing Bob Crass in their hugely successful production of THE RAGGED TROUSERED PHILANTHROPISTS.

Since then Neil has worked as an actor/musician and musical director in all types of theatre from Theatre-in-Education with Northampton Royal; Community Theatre with Solent People’s Theatre, Oxfordshire Touring and Age Exchange; Small-Scale Touring with Eastern Angles, Mikron, Forest Forge, Quondam Theatre and Watford Palace Theatre; Children’s Theatre with the Unicorn and Polka; Repertory seasons at Coventry Belgrade, New Vic Stoke, Queens Theatre Hornchurch, Northampton Royal, Bolton Octagon, Basingstoke Haymarket and Chichester Festival Theatre; Pantomime seasons with Northampton, Chipping Norton, Bloomsbury Theatre (London) and QDOS at Southend and Bromley with Hale and Pace; and as Musical Director for national tours of RETURN TO THE FORBIDDEN PLANET (Basingstoke, Colchester, Exeter, Belfast No. 1 tour), GIRLS’ NIGHT (Goodnight Productions No. 1 tour), WIND IN THE WILLOWS (Splats and Bloomsbury Theatre) and SISTER JOSEPHINE KICKS THE HABIT (Swaledale Festival and tour).
